Marion Collé
Poet, tightrope walker
After studying literature at a preparatory school in Paris, Marion Collé pursued a dual course of study in literature and the circus arts. Under the supervision of Michel Collot at the Sorbonne Nouvelle, she wrote a master’s thesis on Guillevic. At the same time, she trained in the circus arts, first near Lille, then at the Académie Fratellini in Saint-Denis, and finally at the Centre National des Arts du Cirque in Châlons-en-Champagne, from which she graduated in 2010.
She is a member of the Collectif Porte27, within which she develops a body of work where poetry, the tightrope, the body and words intertwine. Above all, she loves to make languages resonate, to weave threads between philosophy, writing and the performing arts. She is interested in the themes of lyricism and social engagement, and explores unconventional paths to create a resonance between the intimate and the world around us, thereby transforming it
She has created seven circus pieces since graduating from the CNAC: "ISSUE01, circus/encounter/creation" and "BLUE" in 2012, « AUTOUR DU DOMAINE » in 2015, « APRÈS LE DERNIER CIEL, hommage à Mahmoud Darwich » in 2016, « DANS LE PAYSAGE AVEUGLE » in 2017, « DANS LE SENS CONTRAIRE AU SENS DU VENT » in 2018, « TRAVERSER LES MURS OPAQUES » in 2022, as well as several carte blanche commissions at the Villa Medici in Rome, the Maison de George Sand in Nohant, and the Maison de la Poésie in Paris.
She has published two collections with Editions Bruno Doucey: “ÊTRE FIL” in 2018 and “TRAVERSER LES MURS OPAQUES” in 2024.
