Born in France, though not quite a Parisian, having been raised from a very young age among trees and rivers...

Adventure, play, balance, and acrobatics are the cornerstones of his exploration of the body and space. A journey and a discovery that began early on with his twin brother. A constant quest to push his limits.

Raised by a journalist-writer father and a traveling bookseller mother, he transitioned from self-taught acrobatics to formal training at the amateur circus school “Cirque en Scène” at the age of 16. For a year, he discovered a multidisciplinary, open, and fulfilling environment, marked by exchange and sharing. Very quickly, a decision became obvious to him: to commit to this professional path, to make a fresh start, on a journey that could prove perilous, much like his first escapades in the trees...

For six months, Löric and his brother took dance and theater classes, as well as daily training in circus disciplines. In 2011, they both participated in several auditions for circus schools and were accepted into the National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois (Enacr).

Löric quickly felt the desire to work in a collective. After a year of “trial and error,” he spent two years at Enacr as a flyer and “semi-porter” with the hand-to-hand and banquine collective he formed with Peter Freeman, Thomas Thanasi (porters), and Clotaire Fouchereau, his twin brother, who was also a flyer.

This collective joined the National Center for Circus Arts (CNAC) in Châlons-en-Champagne in 2014, where Löric continued his training and research in acrobatics and balance—on the floor, on the trampoline, with a base or bases, or as a “semi-base” himself. Numerous encounters and projects fueled his desire to explore new horizons. In December 2015, an unexpected departure presented itself as an opportunity. The quartet became a duo: Peter and Löric decided to continue their work and research together, drawing on their shared history of resilience...

Their personal journeys, the development of projects both in France and abroad, and the encounters their training has afforded them provide motivation and hope for this new adventure that is just beginning.
