Bordeaux, September 17, 1992: Dimitri Rizzello was born to a French mother and an Italian father at 1:01 a.m.
He was introduced to the circus arts at the age of seven. At the Bordeaux Circus School, he learned all kinds of acrobatic skills. There he met people with whom he felt a connection and who encouraged him throughout his youth to push himself and continue in this art form that still fascinates him today.
At the age of eighteen, after earning his scientific baccalaureate, he enrolled in the professional training program at the Bordeaux Circus School. During that year, he participated in the Flying Children circus festival in Russia. He also worked at a circus school for at-risk youth.
The following year, he specialized in aerial silks at the National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois (ENACR). During his second year in Rosny, he traveled to Argentina to perform in the graduation show at the Teatro 25 de Mayo in Buenos Aires.
He continued his training at the National Center for Circus Arts in Châlons-en-Champagne. There, he honed his aerial silks technique and worked to develop his artistic vision. He discovered music and joined the school’s marching band. Now, he follows the long river of life and sails along with it, with the idea of a collective aerial silks production at the forefront of his mind.
