Centre National des Arts du Cirque - EN

Welcome to CNAC

CNAC — the Centre National des Arts du Cirque — in Châlons-en-Champagne is an institution for initial and continuing education, resources, and research in the field of contemporary circus arts.

In 2022, under the leadership of its new General Director, Peggy Donck, CNAC introduced a new school development plan and a new pedagogical project.

CNAC operates as a public institution of the French State, funded by the Ministry of Culture – DGDCER (Directorate-General for Cultural Democracy, Education and Research). It receives support from the Grand Est Regional Council, the Marne Departmental Council, the City, and the Communauté d'Agglomération de Châlons-en-Champagne.

More than a school, CNAC is a space open to all.
CNAC, the cradle of contemporary circus, is a place of passage, exchange, training, resources, encounters, research, innovation, connection across disciplines, artistic creation, and cultural life.
We support, train, and guide artists who are reinventing the aesthetics of tomorrow.
Whether you are a student, researcher, artist, spectator, technician, cultural sector professional, partner, or visitor… you are welcome at CNAC!
