Davide was born in Milan (Italy) on September 7, 1995.
At the age of five, because of (or thanks to) his asthma caused by the smog of the big city, his whole family moved to the countryside between Liguria and Tuscany, where they still live today. In middle school, he began participating in small theatre workshops, then sang and danced in end-of-year musical productions. Later, at 15, he discovered rock and heavy metal.
This marked the beginning of a five-year period with the band he formed, “VIOLET,” where he was the singer and his brother the drummer.
The band performed more than 200 concerts during the years of leopard-print tights, pointed boots, and cowboy hats. At 18, Davide was uncertain about his path after discovering parkour three years earlier and falling in love with it. Music or sport? An audition at the FLIC Scuola di Circo gave him a clear answer when he was accepted into the first year.
He specialized in handstand balance, already having experience in acrobatics through group classes.
Over the following three years, he collaborated with artists such as Roberto Magro, Pascal Angelier, Piergiorgio Milano, Francesco Sgrò, Ben Furi, Alessandro Maida (Cie Magdaclan), and many others. At 22, he was directly admitted into the second year of the Centre national des arts du cirque, specializing in acro-dance.
Davide also has other skills: he sings, plays guitar and percussion, practices roller skating and skateboarding. He speaks Italian, English, French (and Chinese when drunk).
His artistic references include companies such as Peeping Tom, Wim Vandekeybus, Oktobre, Tom Weksler, and William Thomas.
