Specializing in partner acrobatics, Chinese pole, and the blending of both disciplines.
Antonin grew up in France, in the Savoie region, in the heart of the mountains. At the age of four, Antonin began circus training at the amateur school Arc en Cirque in Chambéry. As they grew older, Antonin attended a circus-focused high school and then completed two years of training at the same school, specializing in solo Chinese pole technique. Playful and curious, they quickly understood the importance of joy and collectivity on stage.
In 2019, Antonin left Savoie to train for two years in a duo with Uma Pastor at the Piste d’Azur school. There, they learned how to lift and carry, to find shared spaces on the pole, and confirmed their interest in collective practice. It was also during this time that their engagement with social justice and activist causes began to develop.
In 2021, the duo entered the Centre National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC). Over the three years of training, Antonin increasingly refined their artistic practice, developing versatility and dramaturgical awareness. They also took part in the creation of a company, Cirque À Titre Provisoire, with three peers from their cohort.
To complete their studies, Antonin participated in the creation and touring of the CNAC graduation show Brûler d’envies 🔥, co-directed by Martin Palisse and David Gauchard, with performances scheduled for 2024–2025.
