Santiago, Chile. 1989. A city surrounded by mountains, suffocated by Santiago’s pollution, the legacy of a dictatorship, and the political disillusionment of an entire people; It was in this city that Andrés began his training as an acrobat, as well as his journey as an artist in 2007, always influenced by the history of his country and its revolutionary figures. He continued his independent training by participating in several workshops in Argentina (La Arena) and Brazil (National Circus School of Rio de Janeiro) to learn about different cultures and approaches to the circus.
In 2009, he enrolled at the National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois (Enacr), where he specialized in hand balancing techniques, and has continued to do so at the National Center for Circus Arts in Châlons-en-Champagne (Cnac) since 2011.
Now nearing the end of his studies, he is preparing to join the Kiaï company for the creation of the show OFF under the direction of Cyrille Musy and with Mathurin Bolze serving as artistic advisor.
At the same time, he is continuing his personal collective creative project, SABORDAGE, with Mehdi Azema, Justine Berthillot, and Frédéri Vernier, all members of the 25th graduating class of the CNAC.
