the European Hand to Hand project - Publication of its results

The Hand to Hand project, co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union, has reached its conclusion. Coordinated by Le Palc – National Circus Hub of Châlons-en-Champagne, the project explored the connections between circus arts, the world of work, and relational ecology through artistic residencies within companies.

Two years of collaboration between artists, researchers, and businesses have resulted in several publications, now available online:

A Guide: Artistic Residencies in Companies: For a Relational Ecology
This collective guide, both practical and theoretical, provides concrete tools for designing and supporting artistic residencies in companies.

Two scientific articles written by Magali Sizorn and Nathalie Blanc, examining the links between circus arts, ecology, and the transformation of life:

  • Circus Artists in production spaces: exploring a productivist world through bodies at work → FR / EN
  • Artists listening to life: how to act through circus arts → FR / EN

These publications highlight the richness of dialogue between creation, research, and the professional world, and open pathways to rethink how we collaborate and create together.

Congratulations to all European partners for this wonderful collective adventure!
