Yvonne Smink
Yvonne is a multiple Dutch and international pole art champion. Having started in climbing in 2011, she forged her style on the Chinese pole, blending influences from climbing, contemporary dance, and breaking.
She has taught, judged, and practiced pole on five continents and in over 60 countries. She has also collaborated with artists such as Sevdaliza, FKA Twigs, and Jared Leto. She works in collective projects with hip-hop and contemporary theater companies (ISH Dance Collective, Compagnie Kafig) and presents her solos in social projects (Corpo Máquina Society). In addition to her work as a performer with circuses like the Hurjaruuth Winter Circus, she also teaches at circus schools such as Estaco Lido and ACAPA.
