Olivier Debelhoir

Mentor of the 38th promotion

Starting out as a tightrope walker and street juggler, he specialised in acrobatic bicycle stunts at the Marseille Circus School.
When his grandfather died, he inherited a shovel. He made the best of it and became a tightrope walker on any surface.
Taiji and meditation opened up lasting new horizons for him. Since then, he has been exploring them.

A circus writer, seeker of balance, and local musician, he embraces vertigo, even in his writing, sharing his limits without seeking to push them.

Accompanied by a Bear since 2015, alongside close friends and family, he writes and performs his shows. Un soir chez  Boris, L'ouest loin, Une pelle, Tombouctou, La vie de ma mère. He can be seen in the Vercors, a nearby Orient.
