Dolores Calvi
Circus performer, specialising in the Chinese pole.
Her background:
• Professional training as a circus performer at ESACTO Lido in Toulouse and as a circus artist at CRAC – Centre Régional des Arts du Cirque in Lomme, plus two years’ study of osteopathy at the Argentine School of Osteopathy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts (Dance and Circus) at the Université Jean Jaurès in Toulouse.
• Teacher at ESAC Brussels and ACAPA Tilburg.
• Also collaborates with ESACTO Lido, CRAC Lomme and Bordeaux.
She has taken part in various productions with circus, theatre, music and performance companies: Crida Company, Parsifal with Aurélien Bory, Cahin Caha, Cie. Angela Laurier, Cie Timshel, Cie Oncore, etc.
She also creates solo works and has worked extensively on cultural outreach projects, primarily with detention centres and refugees. Some projects have been with Cie Singulière.
