Victoria Belen Martinez
Korean Cradle, Vaulter, Floor acrobatic
Argentina
Aerialist and acrobatic dancer.
Born in Buenos Aires, she competed in gymnastics at a high level for about ten years, including three years with the Argentine national team.
In 2005, she co-founded the Circo Eguap company with other artists. They created several shows with which they toured Argentina for three years and developed an artistic project in Patagonia to work with children in prison.
In search of new experiences, she left her native country for Europe. She participated in various Spanish festivals with a performance blending balance acts, contortion, and live music. She enrolled at the National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois (Enacr) and then at the National Center for Circus Arts (Cnac), where she formed a Korean trapeze duo with Basile Forest. Today, she seeks to fuse her experience in aerial acrobatics, her flexibility, her balancing skills, her acrobatic dynamism, and her cultural background to find her own unique movement in dance.
In 2013, she joined the Kiai Company for the creation of OFF, a show directed by Cyrille Musy and Sylvain Décure, with Mathurin Bolze serving as artistic advisor.
