Sebastian was born on March 16, 1995 in Copenhagen. He comes from both Greenland and Denmark.

He is the eldest of six siblings. He grew up in Copenhagen, and from an early age his desire to travel made him feel that his work would take him around the world.

In 2013, he joined the preparatory circus school AFUK – Akademiet For Utæmmet Kreativitet, the Academy of Modern Circus Arts in Copenhagen. There, he discovered the world of circus, theatre, and dance, and learned to work on his weaknesses in order to progress.

He became aware of his physical abilities and explored various disciplines such as acrobatics, Chinese pole, hand balancing, and partner acrobatics, before choosing his specialization: the Korean teeterboard (bascule coréenne).

Eight months later, Sebastian joined the ENACR/CNAC training program at the École nationale des arts du cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois and the Centre national des arts du cirque track, forming a quartet with his friends Anton Persson, Demian Bucci, and Oskar Norin. Together, they explore, test, and push boundaries, aiming to redefine artistic expression through creativity, individuality, and imagination.

Sebastian has performed in events in Denmark, France, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, as well as with various companies in festivals such as the Street Circus Festival in Paris, the Festival International du Cirque des Mureaux, CIRCa, Letní Letná, Grape, and Rise Festival in Slovakia.

His circus practice has taught him to take care of his body. He experiences it as a true investment in himself, allowing him to travel, meet new people, and engage with different cultures. For him, circus, theatre, and dance are much more than entertainment—they are a way of being present and actively engaging with social issues and with oneself.
