This is the story of a man who is ordinary in almost every sense of the word—except for his name. Born a “free man,” destined to travel and explore not only the world and its wonders, but also the limits of how far he can push his body.

His journey begins in a small town on the east coast of Australia, where he starts circus training at just 18 years old. Quickly, like a snake disappearing into tall grass, he leaves behind his “normal” life and dives headfirst into the world of circus, welcomed into the community like a stolen wallet, returned once again to its rightful owners.

As days and months go by, training again and again is no longer just a desire but a necessity. After a few years of sweat and pain, the work finally pays off. It is time to leave for the other side of the world for Spaghetti Circus’s first international tour—without knowing just how much those two months will change the rest of his life.

Finland, Sweden, Estonia, England, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland, and finally France—on an expiring visa, alone in Europe, with no desire to return “down under.” It is time to get serious and apply to circus schools.

Peter and Löric’s paths cross; both are united by their passion for training and practice. Following the curriculum of the National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois (ENACR) and the National Centre for Circus Arts (CNAC) in Châlons-en-Champagne, while facing the challenges along the way, strengthens their friendship and their determination to enter the circus world with a high technical level and an open mind—ready to explore the unknown and discover everything a “showman’s” life can offer.

At the dawn of their professional careers, they know that the path to excellence is difficult and that nothing is achieved without hard work.
