Maria Jesus was born in Latin America, in the city of Santiago, Chile.

Her first steps into movement came through classical and contemporary dance, as well as gymnastics. She then developed a desire to bring all these practices together into a single path, which led her to discover circus arts.

Her perseverance led her to the school El Circo del Mundo in Santiago for one year. She then joined the company Diminuto Circus for more than two years as a flyer in Korean cradle work.

After many encounters, she decided to move to France to deepen her knowledge and satisfy her curiosity for circus arts. She arrived in 2015 with determination to join the professional program of the École nationale des arts du cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois and the Centre national des arts du cirque, alongside her partner Marin Garnier, forming a duo specializing in acrobatic partnering.

Their work became defined by a singular artistic identity enriched through exchanges with Mathieu Benayoune, Fanny Soriano, Karine Noël, Mathieu Desseigne, and the company Cirque Exalté.

Marin and she strive to work without limits, constantly questioning their skills and desires, and challenging traditional technical codes. Together, they reflect on how circus is evolving today, building a delicate yet raw human connection that they bring vibrantly to the stage.
