She studied philosophy in Besançon, first in the hypokhâgne preparatory class and then in the khâgne class, before earning her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Jean Moulin University of Lyon III. In 2009, she enrolled at ENACR and joined CNAC in 2011, where she trained as a circus artist, specializing in acrobatic lifts. In 2013, she toured the graduation show “Tetrakaï,” directed by Christophe Huysman.
She created her first piece, “Noos,” with Frederi Vernier at the CND in March 2015. They toured their production for four years in France and abroad as a co-production of the Théâtre du Monfort. Between 2015 and 2016, she participated in the Franco-Caribbean circus/dance creation project “Antipode” led by the PPCM in France, Chile, Madagascar, and Guadeloupe, and continued her collaboration with Gaëtan Levêque on the creation of “Piano sur le fil” with musician Bachar Mar-Khalifé. Between 2016 and 2019, she also performed in the dance production “L’hypothèse de la chute” by Cie Le grand jeté. In 2015, she was invited to create a “Sujets à Vifs” piece in Avignon with author Pauline Peyrade; together they created and performed “Est” during the 2015 Avignon Festival at the Jardin de la Vierge at Lycée Saint-Joseph, and in 2016 they founded #CiE in Lyon, which became Morgane in 2020.
They continued their exploration of raw, visceral movement with composer Antoine Herniotte, creating *Poings*, which premiered in 2018 at the CDN du Préau in Vire. In late 2019, they completed the company’s second piece, *Carrosse*, which arose from an invitation by Les Scènes du Jura and the Comédie de Saint-Étienne to create a touring production; a show they are currently performing. In 2020, she co-created “Tiempo” with Juan Ignacio Tula, which will premiere in 2021, and is working on the performance of “Aevum” with the L.I.E. company. Starting in 2020, she has been an associate artist at the Espace des Arts in Châlons-sur-Saône under the direction of Nicolas Royer, and in the fall of 2020, she created “Notre Forêt,” an in-situ choreographic solo, for their Transdanses Festival.
In addition to her work as a creator and performer, she also teaches in France (Subsistances, Châtellerault, etc.) and abroad (Brazil, Peru, etc.).
