Johannes was born in the winter of 1993 in Aarhus, Denmark.
From an early age, he was immersed in the world of theatre and music through his parents, who both work and evolve in these fields.
At the age of seventeen, he was accepted into an acrobatics and clowning school in Aarhus. He then became involved in numerous social circus projects. He volunteered at Cirkus Tværs, a major circus working with refugees, where he also trained regularly.
With this circus, he traveled several times to Kenya to develop social projects with children, as well as collaborations with a local circus school in Kenya.
Later, he decided to take part in the selection process for the ENACR/CNAC program. He joined the École nationale des arts du cirque de Rosny-sous-Bois as a base artist and juggler.
During his first year, he discovered the Korean cradle with a new partner, Martin Richard. He then entered the Centre national des arts du cirque, where he developed his artistic research around the Korean cradle, as well as hand-to-hand and juggling.
