Chiara was born in the summer of 1988 at the foot of Mount Etna (Sicily).
On her island, a land rich in history and natural beauty, she began exploring the arts at a very young age through painting. She studied interior design and set design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania, then met street artists who introduced her to slacklining. She then spent her breaks at university on a small rope strung between two trees in a park…
At that time, she quickly felt an urgency that drove her to want to bring to life all the scenarios she imagined. She packed her bags and left for three years to attend the Vertigo Circus School in Turin (Italy), where she learned the fundamentals of the technique with Arian Miluka.
Upon graduating in 2012, Chiara toured Italy with her act *La filoruota suona* (Flexible Wire and Bells). That same year, she joined the 26th class at the National Center for Circus Arts (CNAC) in Châlons-en-Champagne, where she continued to develop her skills on the wire.
Her encounter with puppeteers from the International Puppetry Institute (IIM Charleville-Mézières) opened up new avenues of exploration for her, leading her back to her original artistic world.
