Cathrine Lundsgaard Nielsen was born in the summer of 1990 in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. On her Danish island, she grew up in an ordinary house, with a very special dog!
She began traveling extensively at a young age. And her travels exposed her to so many things that impressed and moved her! Little by little, she shaped her identity through all these discoveries.
With a keen interest in other countries and cultures, and a deep passion for theater, it was only natural that she earned her high school diploma with a focus on drama and culture. Then, like all students in Denmark, she decided to spend some time abroad. In her case, it would be for a very long time.
Her desire to discover the world of the circus, combined with her desire to learn several foreign languages, led her to Barcelona to join the Rogelio Rivel Circus School.
So captivated by the circus world, she decided to continue her training at the National School of Circus Arts in Rosny-sous-Bois (ENACR), where she discovered the Chinese pole and pain au chocolat.
She then joined the National Center for Circus Arts in Châlons-en-Champagne, where she developed her artistic research on, off, with, without, and around the Chinese pole.
