Review of the Circus Research Assembly
As part of its activities supporting circus research, CNAC organized an assembly on December 10-11, 2025, bringing together researchers, artists, educators, and professionals from the sector.
These two days highlighted the richness and diversity of ongoing work: archives, contemporary circus dramaturgies, participatory projects, educatinal resources, and collaborations between institutions.
Through the wide range of topics addressed, as weel as the connections and intersections between the presented research, the discussions clearly demonstrated the vitality of circus research today.
The enthusiasm and commitment of the participants bode well for making this an annual event, underlining the essential role of such gatherings in fostering practices, knowledge, and aesthetics in the circus arts.
