The CNAC at the ‘Têtes chercheuses’ meetings

Peggy Donck, Director-General of the CNAC and facilitator for the Performing Arts sector of the Cultural ans Creative Industries Research Prgramme rogramme  (PEPR ICCARE), opened the meetings alongside Charlois Pierre-Yves (Pôle international de la marionnette – Jacques Félix), Véronique Evanno (DGCA, Ministry of Culture) and Annabel Poincheval (DGCA, Ministry of Culture).

Held on 16 and 17 September in Charleville-Mézières as part of the Temps d’M festival, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and the ICCARE research programme, these meetings foster dialogue between research, creation and knowledge transfer.

Peggy Donck also took part in the round-table discussion on research in the puppetry arts. At the heart of the discussions were the development of shared knowledge amongst artists, researchers, higher education institutions and cultural organisations, as well as ways of documenting and passing on knowledge derived from artistic practices.

These are all issues that also cut across the circus arts and higher education in the arts.
