Charter on Educational Relations (Parade Protocol): a collective commitment at the CNAC
Following on from the students, it is now the turn of all CNAC staff – employees and lecturers alike – to sign the charter on educational relations, entitled ‘Charter on Educational Relations – Parade Protocol’.
Drawn up by the CNAC management, based on the model proposed by the Ministry of Culture, and approved by the Social and Economic Committee (CSE) and the student representatives at the institution, this charter aims to establish a common framework for everyone in order to foster respectful, constructive and equitable interactions, which are essential to the success and smooth running of life at the National Centre for Circus Arts.
This collective initiative affirms a shared responsibility: to foster, on a day-to-day basis, a learning and working environment based on respect for each and every individual, whilst respecting individual differences (age, gender, sexual orientation, etc.) and the values of public higher education (tolerance, secularism, freedom of expression, etc.).
It comprises a common core, a specific module relating to the parade protocol and the particularities of circus education, as well as an appendix setting out reprehensible and discriminatory behaviour.
