Bernard Andrieu Biography - Resume

Bernard Andrieu is a philosopher, a professor at the Paris-Descartes university, director of the Techniques and Issues of the Body research laboratory (TEC, EA 3625) and coordinator of the GDRI 836 CNRS (contributor of the Cnac).

He was at the University of Rouen and a researcher at CETAPS1 from 2014 to 2015.

From 2005 to 2014 he was a Professor in epistemology of the body and physical practices at the University of Nancy.

A philosopher of the body, he publishes works on the history of physical practices (such as tanning, touch, living, premature infants, the outdoors, immersion, vertigo in circus at the Cnac research centre / National Centre of Circus Arts, hybridisation or body-related cults) and is establishing a corporeal ecology. He is developing an emersology of the living body within the consciousness of the experienced body.
