Olivier Burlaud Biography - Resume

After initially training at the Annie Fratellini National Circus School (l’École Nationale du Cirque Annie Fratellini), he participated in numerous courses and collaborations (Jérôme Thomas, Claire Heggen, Raymond Peyramaure or François Lazaro, ...), which led him to discover a particular relationship with juggling.

He worked especially with the Cirque du Grand Céleste in Paris.

He created the Cirque AlbaTros in 2002. His artistic universe is that of circus creation, both indoors and in public spaces, in particular the contemporary forms of object manipulation. The company has developed an original theatrical and choreographic language, at the point of crossover between juggling and puppetry.

He also teaches at the ECL (Lyon) and the ESAC (Brussels).
