Circa festival

The CNAC has worked in a longstanding partnership with the CIRCa festival – "International Competition for Future Circus Influence"

From the beginning, the festival founders wanted this encounter between circus schools to contribute, through exchange and comparison, to a revival of the circus arts.

An educational crossroads, but also an opportunity for meeting both new and regular audiences, over the years CIRCA has become one of the main contemporary circus meeting points in Europe.

The CNAC Resource Centre has video recordings of the festival shows.

The CNAC has recorded these shows in their entirety and archived them for educational puposes and consultation at the Resource Centre.

Each artist or company involved also receives a copy of the relevant recording.
